Case of acute onset of Lichen planus, of a middle-aged female during lockdown 2020. The complaint started with the eruptions that had itching all over the body except the face. Places patient would scratch would turn out into lesion. After visiting a dermatologist she was prescribed corticosteroids that showed various side effects like backache, tiredness, muscle pains, etc. The lesion appeared on the back with intolerable itching and scratching. On stopping the steroid treatment her complaint increased. Later patient started with homeopathy treatment, her complaints gradually subsided within a month. Even the discoloration of the skin disappeared which usually remains as written in the medical books.
